HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON PHOENIX-CHANDLER, Chandler

The property sits directly off Interstate 10, providing quick access to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (19 km), downtown Chandler, and the greater Phoenix area. San Tan Village and Arizona Mills are about a 30-minute drive east. Several casual dining options, including El Ranchero Mexican Grill and Can't Stop Smokin BBQ, are within 1 km. The Radford Racing School is just minutes away by car. The hotel's location is best suited for car-based travel; the surrounding area is walkable for meals but limited for errands without a vehicle.

All suites include a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and two stove hobs. Living areas have a sofa bed, a work desk, and in some units a fireplace. Bedrooms offer a king bed or two double beds, with large HDTVs in both the living room and bedroom. Air conditioning is standard, though some rooms rely on portable units that can be noisy. A noteworthy detail is that bathrooms are not private-they are en suite but open to the living area, although the shower and toilet are enclosed. Rooms facing the freeway or the exterior transformer may experience noise; requesting a quieter room is advisable. The property shows signs of age, and some furnishings and carpets are worn, so those seeking pristine decor may prefer other options. However, the suites are functional and well-suited for longer stays, as they provide a home-like setup with ample storage and kitchenware.

The property's year-round outdoor swimming pool is heated to a comfortable 84 degrees, and the adjacent hot tub is typically warm. Pool towels are provided. The fitness center has basic cardio and strength equipment and is free for guests. Sun loungers and a small sun terrace surround the pool area. Note that the pool and hot tub have occasional downtime for maintenance, and the chair lift for accessible pool entry may not be functional at all times. A nearby hotel's facilities can be used as an alternative if needed, but this involves walking through parking lots.

Wi-Fi is free for all rooms, with a premium upgrade available for an additional fee. The business center offers free fax and photocopying, and there is a shared lounge with a TV. Laundry is available for a fee ($2 per load), and express check-in/check-out is offered. The minimarket on site sells snacks and drinks. Luggage storage is free. The hotel is cashless, so all payments are made by card. Wheelchair-accessible rooms with roll-in showers are available, but the property has carpet throughout, which can make wheelchair movement difficult. Pet owners will find the hotel accommodating, though the $75 pet fee applies. Key card access and 24-hour security are in place. An on-site parking lot requires a $15 daily fee unless a 5+ night stay.
