FAIRFIELD INN AND SUITES BY MARRIOTT EL PASO, El Paso

The hotel sits directly off the interstate, which makes it practical for road trips and early departures. Santa Teresa border crossing is close for cross-border travel, and the airport is roughly a 24 km drive. Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino is 6 km away and El Paso Museum of Art is 13 km away. Leo's Mexican Food is 0.5 km from the door, with McDonald's, Cracker Barrel, Ali Baba and Jason's Deli around 0.5 km away; more shopping and dining options sit within a couple of miles. Free bicycle rental provides an alternative for short trips around the area. The property sits beside an interstate and rail corridor, so sound exposure varies significantly by room location.

Breakfast is full American and continental buffet style, and the hot selection changes daily - eggs, sausage, bacon, chorizo-potato dishes, waffles, croissants, bread, fruit, yogurt, juices and coffee are typical, with gluten-free options available. The 06:00 start suits early departures. If the hot line is lighter, the fruit and yogurt selection is consistent. For other meals, the hotel has a snack bar, a drinks vending machine and a small minimarket on site. There is no restaurant; the nearest dining options are Leo's Mexican Food at 0.5 km and McDonald's, Cracker Barrel, Ali Baba and Jason's Deli at about 0.5 km.

The indoor pool sits at room temperature and the hot tub holds warm water; both are generally available from 07:00 to 22:00. Access is managed by reservation at the front desk, with a maximum of 10 people per 1-hour-45-minute daily session, so reserving at check-in is the reliable way to use them. The fitness centre includes weights and other exercise equipment but can become warm when its air conditioning is not running, and the pool area has limited ventilation on hot days. A spa and wellness centre is included within the property's facilities, alongside outdoor furniture and free bicycle rental for exploring the area. The hot tub jets have been out of service at times. During renovation periods, pool availability can be suspended.

The property offers free Wi-Fi throughout, a 24-hour front desk with security, CCTV and key-card access, luggage storage, express check-in/out, mobile key and digital check-in. Daily housekeeping is included; laundry and dry cleaning cost extra. The business centre is free; fax/photocopying is available; meeting/banquet facilities carry a fee. On-site parking is available without reservation, including accessible, van-accessible and long-term parking options. Pets are allowed and service animals are welcome. The property is non-smoking throughout, with family rooms, cots and a lift. Accessibility features include roll-in and transfer showers, grab rails, lowered fixtures, TTY/TTD and flashing door knockers, accessible meeting spaces, an accessible pool lift/sloped entry, and accessible routes to the business centre and fitness centre. Accepted cards include American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, JCB and UnionPay. Published sustainability data shows an 8.2 kg carbon footprint and a 679.74 litre water footprint per room night.
