Several public car parks are available on nearby streets; free on-street parking is also possible in the university zone on weekends. The location scores highly for walkability and safety, though street-facing rooms can be affected by night-time noise from pavement footfall, especially on weekends.

Rooms are basic, clean, and equipped with private bathroom, desk, and free toiletries. Flooring is parquet. A double room may include a patio and city view, though city-view here means direct pavement access - these ground-floor street-facing rooms have no double glazing and suffer from significant noise from passers-by, traffic, and night-time street activity, as well as light from street lamps through broken or uncovered shutters. Interior rooms overlooking a courtyard are quieter. Room sizes range from compact singles to larger doubles; triple rooms squeeze three beds into a space that may be tight for luggage. Some rooms have a desk, but not all. Many rooms have functional air conditioning and heating, but the heating is switched off at night, which can leave the room cold until morning. The building is older and furniture can be worn, with reports of broken shutters, old mattresses, and unclean floors. All rooms are on the ground floor, with some windows directly onto the street. There are no balconies. Some rooms do not have a fridge.
