SMARTR MADRID ATOCHA, Madrid

The apartment sits in the vibrant Huertas district, within easy walking distance of the Prado Museum, Retiro Park, and Plaza Mayor. Anton Martin metro station (line 1) is a few steps away, connecting directly to Atocha train station for high-speed rail and airport access. The immediate area is filled with bars, restaurants, and cafes, yet the apartment's interior courtyard keeps noise levels low at night. Parking is not available on site, but a public garage is nearby.

Apartments are generally spacious and practical for groups or families. Each unit includes at least one double bedroom, a second bedroom with twin or bunk beds, a sofa bed in the living room, and two full bathrooms with hairdryers and free toiletries. Some are duplexes with low attic ceilings that may not suit tall visitors. Air conditioning is present in at least one room, though not always in all bedrooms; heating is provided. Beds are reported as comfortable, and the digital entry system means no waiting for keys. Furnishings are basic but functional, and cleanliness is maintained to a good standard.

The property does not offer wellness or leisure amenities. The Barrio de las Letras neighbourhood and nearby Retiro Park provide outdoor recreation and cultural activities. The central location makes it easy to explore Madrid's museums, shops, and nightlife on foot.

The apartment building has a lift, and the apartments are on upper floors accessible by elevator. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms, though signal strength can be inconsistent and may struggle in attic-level rooms. A tour desk can help with trip planning. The property has a no-smoking policy throughout and is equipped with fire extinguishers. Late check-in past midnight requires a prior arrangement and booking the previous night. The deposit is required upon arrival.
