The hostel is set in the central area, just a short walk to the Malecón boardwalk, restaurants, and nightlife. Bus stops are nearby for easy access to southern beaches and attractions such as Aquaventuras Park (6 km) and the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center (9 km). The airport is 10 km away; no shuttle service is available. The neighbourhood is lively and walkable, but street noise can be significant from the surrounding avenues.

Private double rooms feature air conditioning, a washing machine, kitchenware, and a dining area, with some including a private bathroom and balcony. Dormitory rooms offer individual beds rather than bunks in some configurations. Beds in private rooms are generally large and comfortable, though some rooms are basic and may feel dated. Road-facing rooms are subject to constant traffic noise, making them less suitable for light sleepers. Rooms with windows opening onto common areas may lack privacy. Air conditioning in some dorms is only turned on at night, and fans are provided. Showers may have inconsistent hot water, especially if used simultaneously. Towels and toiletries are not always included; confirm what is provided for your room.

Breakfast is a simple, self-service offering of pancakes and coffee, served during a set morning window. It is a popular social feature but can run out if you arrive late. For more variety, nearby restaurants such as Veggitalia Pizza & Osteria Vegetariana and Florencia Arte Cafe are within a 5-minute walk. The hostel has a bar, a coffee house on site, and a shared kitchen for preparing your own meals. The dining area and rooftop terrace provide pleasant spaces for eating and meeting others. Note that there is no full restaurant on the property.

The rooftop terrace is a key social hub, offering sunset views, space for meeting other travellers, and occasional events like yoga or concerts. Activities include movie nights, table tennis, and board games. Snorkelling is available off-site. The shared lounge and outdoor seating areas provide additional places to relax. There is no pool or spa on site.
