HAMPTON INN BY HILTON TIJUANA, Tijuana

The hotel sits a comfortable 8-minute drive from Tijuana International Airport and is also well placed for the Otay Mesa border crossing and the American Consulate. Las Americas Premium Outlets are about 9 km away, and the hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, a cinema, and a shopping centre. Free on-site parking and the complimentary shuttle service (to destinations within 10 km) make car-free or airport-adjacent stays practical. For late arrivals or early departures, Uber and Didi are widely available, though the hotel does not offer a pick-up service from the airport terminal itself.

Rooms are compact functional spaces with air conditioning, heating, soundproofing to reduce external noise, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Each room provides a tea and coffee maker, a safe, ironing facilities, and a trouser press. Bedding varies - double rooms have one bed, while quadruple rooms offer two beds. Some rooms have a refrigerator. Premium large rooms include a bathtub. A few units have had inconsistent air conditioning and heating functionality; requesting a room that has been serviced recently is advisable. The entire property is non-smoking. Basic toiletries and free Wi-Fi are provided.

Breakfast is included in many rates and operates as a buffet with a changing selection of hot and cold items. Offerings regularly include scrambled eggs with a Mexican twist, chilaquiles, homemade refried beans, fresh fruit, granola, yoghurt, and freshly made waffles. The coffee is unlimited and available in the lobby throughout the day. The on-site restaurant serves American, Mexican and local cuisine for lunch and dinner, and there is a bar and coffee shop. Several walking-distance dining options - including Applebee's, Gianluca, and Asadero El Taco - provide additional variety for evening meals.

The indoor swimming pool is heated and open year-round, with pool towels and sun loungers provided. It is a popular facility for families, and the pool area is kept clean. The fitness centre is equipped for a standard workout routine and is also free of charge. No spa or wellness centre is available on site. The pool opening time is 10:00, so early-morning swimming is not possible.
