HOTEL AND HOSTEL KAB, Cancun

The property sits on a busy main road, so street-facing rooms hear constant traffic noise day and night; rooms at the rear or with windows facing away from the street are significantly quieter. The ADO bus station for airport and regional buses is a 12-15 minute walk, making early-morning departures straightforward without a taxi. The Cancun Government Palace and Parque las Palapas are within an 11-minute walk, and several shops, a supermarket (Oxxo), and affordable local restaurants and a burger place are within a few blocks. Free on-site parking is available, so driving into the city centre is practical, though the property is walkable for errands. Cancún International Airport is 18 km away.

Rooms are described as spacious, clean, and comfortably furnished. All come with air conditioning, a work desk, and free toiletries. Some rooms have a private bathroom (shower), others have a shared bathroom (shower). The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. A few units include a seating area, and some have two windows for cross-ventilation and natural light. The property offers ground-floor units and family rooms. Street-facing rooms experience significant traffic noise; windows do not fully seal out sound. Air conditioning units generally work well, but a few units may drip water or have a non-functional remote. Some rooms have a small refrigerator. The bathrooms have good water pressure and hot water, though shared bathrooms are cleaned regularly.

Free WiFi is available in all areas. Free private parking is available on site without reservation. The property has 24-hour security, CCTV in common areas and outside, fire extinguishers, and key access. Services include daily housekeeping (free), express check-in/check-out (for a surcharge), private check-in/check-out, room service, and a shared lounge/TV area. Accessible parking is available on site. No pets are allowed. There is a designated smoking area. The reception is not staffed full-time; communication is often via WhatsApp. Luggage storage is available and helpful for early arrivals or late departures.
