HOTEL AS ACEAS, Madrid

El Retiro Park is the nearest landmark, under 1 km away, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is a 19-minute walk, putting the Retiro and museum district within easy walking range. Gran Vía is 3 km away. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 10 km from the property. The immediate surroundings are practical: a dense cluster of restaurants, bars and cafés is within 300 m, and supermarkets and shopping centres are close by. The walkable core reduces the need to drive.

All units have a private entrance and a fully equipped kitchen with stovetop, fridge, dishwasher and kitchenware; some add an electric kettle and electric blankets. Bathrooms are private with a bath and shower; some add a bidet, bathrobes and a hot tub. All units have air conditioning, heating, a streaming-enabled flat-screen TV and a washing machine; the largest layout offers three beds. No rooms have balconies. The style is simple and functional; rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and some units are compact. Despite soundproofed walls in some suites and family rooms, noise from neighbouring rooms and the street carries easily, with surrounding traffic audible late into the night. Rooms sit on upper floors of a residential building without a lift; stairs are required, and a hairdryer is not in every room.

Breakfast is available only when the chosen rate includes it, so the selected room and dates determine whether a morning meal is part of the stay; an in-room breakfast option exists, and the meal offer can include a children's buffet. Since there is no restaurant on site, lunch and dinner are taken in the immediate area - a dense cluster that includes SOMA Healthy Cafe, Vinos de Bellota, Taberna Alegrias, Salino, Jama Bistro, Sa Brisa Madrid, La Monteria and La Bodeguita del Arte II, all within 300 m. The restaurant opposite the hotel also serves meals and is a well-regarded dining spot.

The property runs no communal spa, wellness centre or swimming pool; relaxation focuses on the hot tub fitted in select apartments, suites and family rooms. Free bicycles are available for getting around, and El Retiro Park, under 1 km away, provides the main outdoor leisure space for walks and quiet time. A golf course operates within 3 km, and video games are available in the building for indoor downtime. This is a practical leisure set-up rather than a resort-style offer.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the building. Private parking is free at a location near the property and does not require a reservation - a practical asset for drivers in the city. Luggage storage, a laundry service and daily housekeeping are available, and a welcome drink is offered. Pets are allowed, cots can be provided, and the building is non-smoking throughout. Key-access entry and fire extinguishers are in place. Visa and MasterCard are accepted, and fax/photocopying is available for an extra charge. Bicycles can be stored in the hall on request.
