The location is ideal for exploring Florence on foot. The Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio are a 10-minute walk away. Santa Maria Novella station, 400 metres from the hotel, provides easy train connections and a direct tram from Florence Airport. Numerous restaurants, shops, and gelaterias are within a few blocks. The terrace offers a view of the Duomo, adding to the convenience of the central position.

Rooms are simply furnished with parquet floors and include tea/coffee making facilities, minibars, and flat-screen TVs. Room sizes vary; many are compact and may feel cramped for two people with large luggage. Soundproofing effectiveness varies, with some noise transfer between rooms; internal courtyard rooms are quieter. Air conditioning is available but can be inconsistent in very hot weather. Some rooms have experienced dampness and mould issues. All rooms have private bathrooms with free toiletries. No private balconies, but the shared terrace on the upper floor offers cathedral views. The hotel has no lift, and stairs are required.
