HOTEL DELISA, Berlin

The hotel sits in a quiet residential area, with Berlin Brandenburg Airport just 2 km away. The East Side Gallery is 11 km and Alexanderplatz 12 km from the hotel. Kaulsdorf S-Bahn station is a 5-minute walk, providing direct trains to the city centre in about 15-20 minutes. Free private parking is available on site. A Netto supermarket is immediately adjacent, and several other shops and a kebab shop are within walking distance. For those without a car, the S-Bahn connection makes exploring Berlin straightforward, though the location itself feels far from the main attractions.

Rooms offer parquet or tiled floors, a private bathroom with shower, and heating. The dormitory room has 2 beds; double and single rooms are available. Room sizes are often described as very compact, with limited storage and no wardrobe; some have a clothes rack. The flat-screen TV is present in some units but may not work. Lighting is a single ceiling light controlled only at the door; no bedside lamps are provided. Air conditioning is not available. Thin walls contribute to noise from corridors and adjacent rooms. Some double rooms have a double bed made from two single beds pushed together. Condition varies: some rooms appear newly renovated while others have reported issues such as peeling paint, broken blinds, or dusty floors.

A minimarket is available in the hotel for basics. For more extensive options, a Netto supermarket is immediately next to the property, and a further supermarket and a kebab shop are within a couple of minutes' walk. There is no restaurant, bar, or breakfast service at the hotel. The on-site coffee machine (near reception) requires payment. The self-service food options mean the area suits guests wanting to prepare their own meals. To prepare for the day, stocking up at the Netto for breakfast provisions is practical.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property free of charge, though its reliability has been inconsistent. Free private parking is available on site without reservation. The reception offers an invoice service, but staff may not always be present; key access is by physical key, and late check-in and check-out are managed via a letterbox. Security features include CCTV outside, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and key access. There is no lift on the property, which means upper-floor rooms require stair access. Luggage storage is not confirmed as a service. Room cleaning and towel/bed linen changes are available only upon request. A coffee machine is available near the reception (paid). The property has a barbecue grill available for guest use.
