HOTEL KARLSHORST, Berlin

Karlshorst S-Bahn station is a short walk away, providing direct trains to central Berlin in about 15 minutes. Berlin Brandenburg Airport can be reached in roughly 20 minutes by train via the same line. The hotel sits in a quiet residential area with supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Several dining options are nearby, including Wernesgruner Bierstube and Syrtaki Karlshorst. Tram and bus stops are also close, making it easy to explore the city without a car. For events, the Wuhlheide open-air venue is within easy reach.

The hotel offers single, double, triple rooms and a suite with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard, which tends to be quieter. Mattress firmness varies; bedding can be adjusted on request. Soundproofing is installed, but street-facing rooms may still pick up traffic and tram noise. Heating and air conditioning are provided, though extreme temperatures may affect comfort. Daily housekeeping is complimentary. A few rooms have had maintenance issues such as worn fixtures or pest concerns; checking the room upon arrival is advisable. Cots are available for €7 per night.

Breakfast is served as a set menu rather than a buffet; additional drinks or items may incur extra charges. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the breakfast room or ordered to the room. The hotel does not operate a full restaurant, but several dining options are within a short walk, including a traditional pub at 0.5 km and a sushi bar at 0.5 km. A supermarket and bakery are also nearby for self-catering.
