HOTEL FFA 62, Berlin

Positioned on Frankfurter Allee, the hotel sits on a busy main road with excellent public transport connectivity. The U5 metro station is essentially at the doorstep, placing Alexanderplatz (3.8km), the East Side Gallery (2.8km), and Berlin TV Tower (5km) within a short ride. Berlin Brandenburg Airport is 22km away. A supermarket is directly across the road, and multiple restaurants - including Italian, Vietnamese, and Turkish options - are within 300-500 metres. For those wanting to explore Friedrichshain's alternative scene, the area is within walking distance.

The hotel offers single, double, twin/double, and studio rooms, plus family rooms with two separate bedrooms. Every room includes a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, parquet flooring, heating, and a wardrobe or seating area. Street-facing ground-floor rooms have large windows that are not soundproofed, making them noisy and lacking privacy (curtains must remain drawn). Upper-floor rooms are noticeably quieter. Cleanliness standards have been variable; bedding and floors may require attention at check-in. Rooms are generally compact and sparsely furnished - no TV, no desk, no mini-fridge. Bed comfort is adequate, and some units offer a seating area.

The property does not operate a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. For meals, there is a wide choice within a 5-minute walk: Italian (Trattoria Salute), Vietnamese (Pho Viet Nam), pizza (Zero Stress Pizza), and a café (Cake and Coffee) are all 300m away. A supermarket opposite the hotel is convenient for self-catering basics. The reception provides complimentary coffee, tea, and water - a practical touch for short stays.
