HOTEL FINISTERRE, Mexico City

The hotel is 4 km from the Frida Kahlo House Museum and within easy reach of landmarks such as Chapultepec Castle and Zocalo Square. It is located near the Taxqueña bus terminal and General Anaya metro station, providing public transport links to the city centre and airport (Benito Juarez International Airport is 16 km away). The immediate area includes a bus station, a major avenue (Miguel A. de Quevedo), and several dining options within 1 km. The hotel is set back from the street, but traffic noise can reach rooms facing the road. The property is best suited for guests arriving by car, as free on-site parking is plentiful.

The restaurant is open daily from 07:00 to 23:00 and serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, high tea, and cocktails. Breakfast is available for 230 MXN and includes continental, American, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The menu also includes in-room breakfast and special diet menus on request. The attached bar provides a lounge setting for evening drinks. The restaurant is practical for guests with cars given the free parking, and several other eateries are within a short walk. The food quality is described as simple and good value.

Limited wellness facilities consist of a hot tub and a public bath. There is no pool, gym, or spa on site. The public bath is a basic shared facility. The hot tub is available for use but may not be suitable for a full wellness session. Guests looking for extensive leisure amenities should plan to explore external options.

Free private on-site parking is available without reservation and is a significant convenience for drivers. The 24-hour front desk offers private check-in/check-out, concierge service, currency exchange, tour desk, and luggage storage. Daily housekeeping is provided, and laundry, ironing services, and trouser press are available. Business facilities (meeting room, fax/photocopying) are offered at an additional charge. Wi-Fi is free only in public areas. The lift provides access to upper floors but not from the parking area to the reception - there is a flight of stairs there. Key card access and 24-hour security (CCTV, smoke alarms, safety deposit boxes) are in place. No pets are allowed.
