HOTEL GRAND HILL ICHIGAYA, Tokyo

The hotel sits right at Ichigaya Station, giving guests immediate access to the JR Chuo-Sobu Line and several metro lines. Shinjuku is just a few minutes away by train, and Tokyo Haneda Airport is 22 km from the property. Sotobori Park is a 12-minute walk, while the Shinjuku Historical Museum is less than 1 km away. The area is safe and walkable, with convenience stores, ATMs, and a variety of casual restaurants and cafés within a 5-minute walk. For guests relying on public transport, Exit 7 of the station is the most direct route to the hotel entrance.

Rooms at Hotel Grand Hill Ichigaya are considered spacious by Tokyo standards, especially twin rooms where each bed is wider than typical single beds. The West Wing offers slightly larger rooms with enough floor space to open a suitcase without placing it on the bed. Each room has a private bathroom with a bath and shower, free toiletries, a hairdryer, and slippers. City-view rooms are available, and some rooms overlook the river. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV, wardrobe, safe, air conditioning, heating, and carpeted or parquet flooring. The rooms are generally quiet, making it easy to fall asleep. Daily housekeeping provides fresh towels and toiletries.

Fuji, the on-site restaurant, offers Japanese cuisine with a focus on fresh sashimi and other specialties, open for both lunch and dinner. The second restaurant, 欧風ダイニングサルビア, also serves lunch and dinner. A buffet breakfast is offered daily, costing ¥1700 for hotel guests and ¥2000 for non-guests. For lighter needs, a coffee house on-site serves drinks and snacks. The surrounding streets are lined with many local restaurants and bars within a 300 to 500-metre radius, offering plenty of variety for evening dining.

The hotel provides a range of massage services - back, neck, head, foot, hand, full body, and couples massage - all available for a supplementary fee. These can be booked at the front desk. There is no spa, pool, or gym on site, making the massage services the primary wellness offering. The area is well-suited for leisurely walks along the river or to nearby Sotobori Park.

Key practical services include a 24-hour front desk staffed by helpful, English-speaking personnel, and free luggage storage available for early arrivals or late departures. The hotel also provides lockers, daily housekeeping, and a trouser press. Business facilities such as fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet rooms are available for an additional charge. The property offers 24-hour security with CCTV, key card access, and a safety deposit box. On-site parking is public and costs ¥660 per hour, but it cannot be reserved and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Vending machines for drinks are available, and the hotel has a designated smoking area.
