HOTEL MIRAMONTI, Turin

The hotel lies on a busy ring road with heavy traffic and a large intersection, creating persistent noise day and night. Tram line 4 runs directly outside, providing straightforward access to the historic centre in 15-30 minutes and connecting to the Malpensa Airport shuttle at 4 tram stops. The neighbourhood is practical for low-cost public transport but is considered unsafe at night, especially for parked cars with foreign numberplates. Nearby amenities include supermarkets, pizzerias, and a coffee shop within a 3-minute walk. Torino Outlet Village is a 10-minute drive, and the motorway to Milan is 2 km away, making the hotel convenient for stopovers or car-based journeys.

Rooms are generally spacious and include air conditioning, a minibar, tea and coffee maker, electric kettle, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi, and a safe. Some rooms have mountain views but none have balconies. The décor is described as dated and basic with worn furniture in many rooms; some units appear more recently refreshed. Street-facing rooms in particular suffer from significant traffic and tram noise even when windows are closed, and thin walls allow noise from neighbouring rooms. Earplugs are provided but may not be sufficient for light sleepers. Room cleaning is daily. Complimentary water and coffee are provided. Family rooms are available on higher floors; the lift serves floors 1-9 but may not reach all attic rooms.

The breakfast spread includes pancakes with Nutella, espresso coffee, brioche, homemade cakes, local salami, cheese, omelettes, sausages, and cold cuts, as well as gluten-free and vegan options. Despite the abundance, the quality of certain items like sausages and juices is inconsistent. The breakfast room is in the basement and can feel crowded at peak times. The hotel bar and snack bar are available on-site, but there is no restaurant. Several pizzerias and a supermarket are within a 3-minute walk. A coffee bar opposite the hotel sells takeaway coffee and fresh orange juice.

There are no on-site leisure facilities such as a gym, sauna, or pool. For entertainment, the hotel offers board games and puzzles. The property does not have a restaurant or bar beyond a snack bar. Nearby leisure options are mainly dining and shopping, with the To Dream urban district 5 minutes away and the Torino Outlet Village a 10-minute drive.
