ILUNION VALENCIA 3, Valencia

The hotel is situated in a quieter area of Valencia, well-connected by metro, bus, and tram. Beniferri Station (line 1/2) provides direct access to the city centre in about 5 minutes, and the same line connects to the airport. A bus stop nearby links to the city centre in under 10 minutes. The Congress Centre is 800 m away, making this a practical choice for business travellers. The beach is 9 km away; the tram from Garbi (10-minute walk) is the easiest public transport option. A shopping centre and a range of restaurants, including Paníacos & Co, Raco de L'Arnau, and Casa Vela, are within a 10-minute walk. For those driving, on-site parking costs €16 per day and is connected to the reception.

The rooms feature Nordic-style décor in light colours with parquet flooring. Each has a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Bed options include double, twin, and triple rooms, with some rooms offering views over the city. The rooms are generally clean and the beds are comfortable. However, some rooms may feel basic, with limited storage - a wardrobe with hanging space rather than a full closet. The bathrooms are functional but can be compact; some have reported issues with humidity or odour if ventilation is limited. Rooms facing the main road can experience street noise, and sound insulation between rooms is moderate. The air conditioning is individually controllable in each room. There is no mini-fridge, kettle, or tea/coffee facilities in the room. Some room types have been renovated and are more modern; requesting a newer room at check-in may improve the experience.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with a good selection, served at the Ilunion Valencia 4 hotel next door, connected via the terrace. For €10 per person per day (if booked at check-in for the entire stay) or €12 at the door, you get a filling start to the day. The restaurant on-site offers à-la-carte dishes, including a typical Valencian paella and special menus for celiac and food-intolerant guests (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free options available). The bar is located at Ilunion Valencia 4, connected by the external patio. For those wanting a quick snack, vending machines for drinks and snacks are available at reception. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Casa Vela, Jenkin's, and Taperia Hispania Cortes Valencianas.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and is free of charge. The 24-hour reception allows for late check-ins after midnight and luggage storage is available free of charge (handy for late flights after check-out). Daily housekeeping is included; laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional charge. For business travellers, a business centre, fax/photocopying, and meeting/banquet facilities are available (free for the business centre, other services at an extra cost). The hotel is wheelchair accessible, with a lift, lowered bathroom sinks, raised toilets, grab rails, visual aids (Braille, tactile signs), and accessible parking. Pets are allowed on request for €25 per day and receive a welcome pack including a bed, feeder, drinker, and toy. Safety deposit boxes are free of charge. A vending machine for drinks and snacks is located at reception. The hotel is non-smoking throughout.
