HOTEL PENSION BELLA, Berlin

The Wilmersdorf location is both central and tranquil: you are within 5 minutes on foot from the Ku'damm shopping street and the Gedächtniskirche, while both Uhlandstraße (300 m) and Spichernstraße (under 500 m) underground stations are nearby. A bus stop serving the main train station (Zoologischer Garten, 1 km away) is right outside the building, offering quick connections. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet, with many restaurants, cafés, and a supermarket just a short walk away, making the area practical for both sightseeing and self-catering.

Rooms come in several configurations: classic double rooms with en-suite bathroom, flat-screen cable TV, wardrobe, carpeted floor, and heating, as well as a large apartment with 3 separate bedrooms, a living room, and a roof terrace. Some rooms include a balcony. The Art Nouveau decor features original details such as high ceilings and woodwork. Rooms described as spacious and quiet: courtyard-facing rooms are very quiet, and street-facing rooms also remain calm thanks to the residential street. A few double rooms have private bathrooms with a shower and hairdryer. The apartment can sleep up to 7 people (rate based on 5 adults).

The property does not serve breakfast or operate a restaurant. Instead, a dining room with Jugendstil ambiance is available with free coffee, tea, cookies, and basic kitchen equipment (fridge, toaster, microwave, plates, cutlery). Many guests use this to prepare their own breakfast after shopping at the nearby supermarket. The surrounding streets have numerous restaurants (Italian, Japanese, Vietnamese, steakhouse) and cafés within 300 metres, making dining out easy.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property and reported as fast. A lift (the historic 1901 wooden elevator) provides access to the 4th-floor pension. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. A vending machine offers drinks on site. Daily room cleaning is done on request (free of charge). Safety features include CCTV in common areas and fire extinguishers. The property does not offer on-site parking or allow pets. Check-in/out is straightforward with a key box for late arrivals.
