PENSION MAJESTY, Berlin

The pension occupies a quiet, leafy street in a beautiful late-19th-century building, yet Berlin's best shopping street - Kurfürstendamm - is a 5-minute walk away. The area is packed with cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops. Three S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations (Charlottenburg, Savignyplatz, and Adenauerplatz) are each 5-10 minutes on foot, giving direct rail access across Berlin and to BER airport via S-Bahn. The Messe Berlin is a 30-minute trip by bus or S-Bahn. The location is ideal for exploring West Berlin on foot, with a tram/bus stop around the corner and a direct line to the city centre in about 20 minutes.

Each room has been recently renovated and is fitted with parquet flooring, a large desk, wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, and a modern private bathroom with a large shower. Beds are described as very comfortable, with feather pillows. Rooms are spacious and bright, with many overlooking a quiet inner courtyard - courtyard-side rooms are particularly calm and stay cool in summer. A shared kitchen is available down the hall, with tea, coffee, and a communal fridge (some rooms also have a private mini-fridge). An electric kettle or coffee machine is provided in certain rooms. The Wi-Fi signal can sometimes be inconsistent in some parts of the building.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, though the signal can be weaker in some rooms - the property is working to improve coverage. The shared kitchen includes a kettle, fridge, and utensils. A lift serves the upper floors. Key-card access. Luggage storage is available, allowing you to explore the city after check-out. Daily housekeeping is included free of charge, while fax/photocopying is available for an additional charge. The welcome desk is open from 15:00 to 20:00; late arrivals can be accommodated by prior arrangement. The property is family-friendly and has family rooms. There is no parking, no airport shuttle, and no spa or pool.
