ILLINOIS HOTEL, Sydney

The property is positioned on Parramatta Road, a main arterial route, placing it 13 km from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport and roughly 8 km from Accor Stadium. Buses running directly in front provide a convenient, almost 24-hour link to Central Station, Burwood, and Drummoyne. Nearby fast-food outlets and a BP station are within 150 metres, and several restaurants and a club are about 0.5 km away in Five Dock. For rail travel, the closest station is Croydon. Free parking on site (corner of York Avenue and Parramatta Road) is plentiful and does not require a reservation, making car travel straightforward. The location suits those attending events at the stadiums or needing quick airport access.

Hotel room options include single, double, twin, and family rooms. All are air-conditioned and contain a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a small fridge. However, these rooms use shared bathroom facilities (shower and toilet located in the hallway), and all are upstairs with no ground-floor accommodation available. Rooms are compact and basic in furnishings, with limited storage (no wardrobes, hangers, or irons). Some rooms have windows that cannot be opened. The holiday home at 1 Arlington Street is a separate, spacious 3-bedroom unit with 2 private bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, dishwasher, kettle, utensils), a washing machine and dryer, a dining area, outdoor dining space, and a backyard. It accommodates up to 6 people and offers a much higher standard of comfort and cleanliness.

The restaurant downstairs operates from 12:00 to 21:00 daily and offers a menu spanning American, pizza, and Australian cuisines for lunch and dinner. There is a bar on site with a relaxing atmosphere, a selection of cocktails, and a sports bar broadcasting live events. Kids' meals and wine/champagne are available at an additional charge. The location also places several fast-food chains (KFC, Domino's) and other dining options within a 0.5 km walk, providing easy alternatives.

The pub and bar area feature a casino with gaming machines, televised live sport events, and a happy hour. The venue also hosts trivia nights on Wednesdays. There is outdoor furniture available for use. For more extensive leisure, the surrounding area offers parks and the bay, but no dedicated wellness facilities like a gym or pool are present on the property.
