KATTI HOUSE - FLORENCE'S CENTER, Florence

Katti House sits on a lively pedestrian street lined with restaurants and shops, giving direct access to the historic centre. Florence Cathedral is a 6-minute walk away, and the San Lorenzo Market is steps away. Tram connections at the station make airport transfers straightforward - the station reach is also useful for regional rail trips.

Rooms are individually furnished with traditional Florentine decor, featuring parquet floors and period touches. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries, plus a flat-screen TV, minibar, and safe. Some rooms have an external private bathroom located in a separate area of the building, not en suite - check your booking carefully. Soundproof windows help reduce street noise, but rooms facing the street may still be audible at night. Beds are either singles or doubles; mattresses vary in firmness.

Trattoria Katti, open daily for lunch and dinner, serves Italian classics with vegetarian and gluten-free options - guests receive a discount card. A basic Italian breakfast (croissant and cappuccino) is available at a neighbouring café for a small fee. The street also has many restaurants within 300 metres, including Trattoria Mario and Palle d'Oro.

The area offers walking tours and tours about local culture for an additional fee. On-site leisure facilities are limited; the property's central location puts all of Florence's museums, galleries, and historic landmarks within walking distance.

Wi-Fi is free in rooms. Luggage storage is available free of charge, useful for late departures. Daily housekeeping is included. Laundry service can be arranged for an additional cost. The host is available on-site for check-in and general assistance.
