AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN NORTH BLACK CANYON HWY, Phoenix

The hotel sits at the junction of two main freeways, providing easy car access to downtown Phoenix (6 km), Chase Field (10 km), and the Phoenix Zoo (16 km). The surrounding area has a high volume of pedestrian traffic, including homeless individuals and reported illegal activity, making walking around at night less advisable. Public transport is limited, and the bus stop is a good distance away. A car is strongly recommended for getting around safely and efficiently.

The available rooms include double rooms with one bed and family rooms with two beds. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom featuring a bath, shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. In-room amenities include air conditioning, heating, a satellite TV, a desk, and an alarm clock. However, the condition of rooms varies significantly: some units have been reported with dirty walls, broken bathroom doors, non-working TVs, damaged furniture, and pest issues (cockroaches, bed bugs). Not all rooms have a balcony. Guests should inspect the room upon arrival and be prepared to request a change if standards are not met.

The hotel does not operate a restaurant or serve a daily breakfast. Free coffee is provided in the lobby. Guests who require a morning meal should plan to eat elsewhere, either by bringing their own food or visiting nearby eateries. There is no in-room dining or bar service.

The property does not offer a spa, wellness centre, or swimming pool. A golf course is located within 3 km for guests interested in playing. All leisure activities must be sought off-site.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Free public parking is available on site with no reservation needed, but the parking lot is unsecured and may attract unwanted activity. The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in, and laundry services are available for an additional fee. The property offers fax/photocopying and has facilities for disabled guests. All rooms are non-smoking. The hotel does not provide an airport shuttle, and housekeeping services may not be refreshed upon request. Some reviews note that the office provides coffee but no stirrers or sugar alternatives.
