HILTON PHOENIX AIRPORT, Phoenix

Hilton Phoenix Airport is situated 2 km from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, making it a practical choice for travellers with early or late flights. The free shuttle runs 24 hours a day every 30 minutes, though wait times can reach 30 minutes during busy periods - calling ahead for pick-up is recommended. By car, the hotel is minutes from downtown Phoenix, the Phoenix Convention Center, and the Phoenix Zoo. The surrounding area has no dining or shopping within comfortable walking distance, so plan to rely on the hotel's on-site restaurants or drive a short distance.

Standard rooms are clean and comfortable, though the bathroom is compact - the 1-bedroom suite and Junior Suite provide a larger bathroom. For those who prefer more space or a balcony, interior-facing rooms overlooking the pool have double seating balconies, while exterior-facing rooms have a small standing-only balcony. Rooms on the first and second floors with a king bed and all double-queen rooms include a bathtub. The property is older, and some rooms show wear in carpets and fixtures. Road-facing rooms may hear aircraft noise, though soundproofing is effective. A microwave is not in the room but is available for use in the 24-hour snack shop.

Rennick's Restaurant is open for breakfast (including a hot items menu available from the coffee shop 6 a.m.-9 a.m.) and lunch. The breakfast buffet costs US$18 per person, and a continental option is available. Rimrock Bar & Grille serves dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a menu including chicken wings, salmon, chicken quesadilla, and steak. Service in the restaurant can be slow during busy periods, and the food is described as tasty but with occasional inconsistency in preparation. A 24-hour snack shop in the lobby stocks drinks, snacks, and has a microwave for guest use. There are no dining options within walking distance of the hotel.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated to 27 °C (27°C) and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Pool towels and sun loungers are provided. The hot tub is also heated and open the same hours. The pool area is a central courtyard with bench seating, though smoking is permitted in the pool area, which can affect air quality for nearby rooms and balconies. The fitness centre is equipped with cardio and resistance equipment. The business centre offers free fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet facilities. There is no spa on site.

The complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes; call the hotel when you arrive at the airport with luggage to arrange pick-up.
