The hotel is on Via Giolitti, a street parallel to Termini, making train, metro, and bus connections immediate. The area provides easy walking access to Rome's historic centre - the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps are a few metro stops or a 20-30 minute walk away. Several restaurants, trattorias, and the Mercato Centrale Roma food hall are within 300 metres. The immediate neighbourhood around the station is busy; some find it noisy late at night. The building entrance is via an early 19th-century structure; the hotel is on the fifth floor, accessible by a small lift.

Rooms are fitted with parquet or hardwood floors, soundproofing, and allergy-free materials. Each private bathroom has a walk-in shower, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Triple rooms sleep two adults and two children and include a coffee machine. Some rooms are spacious with a wardrobe and work desk, while others are compact - particularly the bathrooms, which can be very small. Air conditioning works well, and some rooms have good exterior sound insulation. Road-facing rooms may pick up street noise; internal rooms are quieter. A few reports note that bathrooms can have mould or dated fittings. The lift is described as very small and occasionally out of service.

The hotel provides a voucher for breakfast at a bar a few metres from the entrance. The selection is a standard Italian breakfast - pastry, coffee or cappuccino, and juice. For a heartier meal, the surrounding area has numerous trattorias, pizzerias, and the Mercato Centrale Roma food hall within a 3-minute walk. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but a shared area offers free hot drinks (tea and coffee) in the corridor.

The 24-hour reception allows for flexible check-in, with a cash supplement for arrivals after midnight. Luggage storage is free both before check-in and after checkout (until 3 PM). The paid airport shuttle must be arranged in advance; after midnight only taxis from FCO airport are practical (the shuttle is not available). Public transport tickets can be purchased at the hotel. Express check-in/check-out and fax/photocopying are available for an additional charge. A safety deposit box, 24-hour security, and key-card access are provided. No pets allowed, no on-site parking, and no self check-in. The lift gives access to the 5th-floor property.
