The hotel sits on a quiet residential street moments from two underground stations (Lancaster Gate and Queensway) giving direct access to central London. Paddington station, with the Heathrow Express and the Elizabeth line, is a 10-15 minute walk, making airport transfers straightforward. The surrounding area is safe and well-served by buses, restaurants, pubs and shops on Queensway and Bayswater. Hyde Park is directly across the road, providing easy access to the park, Kensington Palace and Notting Hill. For those arriving by car, there is no on-site parking; the nearest 24-hour public car park is Q-Park Queensway (8 minutes' walk), and on-street metered parking is limited.

All rooms have an en suite bathroom (most with a bathtub and shower over, a few with walk-in showers), air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV. Room sizes vary: some are spacious while others - particularly standard doubles - are compact, especially for three adults in a triple room where the double bed measures approximately 1m 35cm. The property is older and tired in places, with some rooms having dated furniture, worn carpets and plumbing issues (toilets requiring multiple flushes, showers with fluctuating temperature or limited hot water). Thin walls mean noise from neighbouring rooms and corridors is common; rooms facing the road or on the 6th floor near the rooftop AC unit can be noisier. Rooms on higher floors or the front side tend to be quieter. All rooms have windows. No rooms have a balcony or kitchen facilities. Fridges are available on request but are not suitable for food or medicine storage. An iron can be requested from reception. Bedding and towels are changed on request or daily; some reports indicate inconsistent housekeeping.

Breakfast is a continental buffet (bread, pastries, cheese, cold meats, yoghurt, fruit, boiled eggs, vegan and gluten-free items) priced at £14.90 per person per day, served from 07:00 to 10:00 on weekdays and until 10:30 on weekends. There is no hot English breakfast or room service for meals. The Serpentine Bar is open in the evenings and serves a selection of beverages, snacks and modern cocktails, but no full dinner menu is available. The bar does not offer food service after closing. For other meals, the surrounding area has numerous restaurants, pubs and cafés within a few minutes' walk - including Leinster Arms, Whites Restaurant, and Pat's Cafe.

The hotel does not have a spa, swimming pool, or on-site gym. However, guests receive a free Gym Pass from reception, granting access to a nearby fitness centre. The location directly across from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens makes outdoor running, walking and cycling easily accessible. Nearby Cloud Twelve Spa in Notting Hill is also within walking distance.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property with a 5 Mbps speed. The hotel has lift access to all floors, though a few steps may be present on some floors. A 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping, and free luggage storage (for same-day collection) are available; overnight storage carries a per-piece fee.
