LOVING SANTO SPIRITO, Florence

The apartment sits in the Santo Spirito district, a lively yet quiet central area just steps from the Arno River. Ponte Vecchio and the city's main landmarks are accessible on foot - Santa Maria Novella is less than 1 km away, and Florence Airport is 11 km. The flat walk from the main train station takes about 20 minutes. Numerous restaurants, bars, and shops are clustered within 300 metres, making evening outings convenient. The area is safe and well-suited for exploring the city without a car.

The 1-bedroom unit sleeps up to four using a double bed and a sofa bed in the living area. The apartment is notably larger than typical city-centre rentals, with tiled floors and a private entrance from the patio. Each bathroom includes a shower; one shower has pressure jets. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking simple meals, and the living area features a dining table, seating area, and flat-screen TV. The space stays naturally cool even without air conditioning, though natural light is limited. Wardrobes and electric kettle add everyday convenience.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and kitchenware, allowing guests to prepare meals easily. Several highly rated restaurants - including Trattoria La Casalinga, Gustapizza, and Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco - are within a 5-minute walk. The area is known for its lively dining scene, with options for traditional Florentine cuisine and casual pizza. The host provides a guide with local food recommendations, and grocery deliveries can be arranged for a surcharge.

On-site wellness options include massage services and spa/wellness packages, both bookable at a surcharge. The apartment's central location also means that Florence's museums, galleries, and historic sites are all within a short walk. Walking tours, bike tours, and pub crawls can be arranged locally for an extra fee, though these activities take place off-site. The apartment itself offers a quiet retreat after a day of sightseeing.
