The stadium and racecourse are within a short walking distance, making this a practical base for football matches and concerts. Malpensa International Airport is 45 km away. Free on-street parking is available but is not safe; paid public parking facilities are a more secure option. The area is residential and tranquil overall.

Accommodation consists of rooms within a converted apartment. Rooms with a private bathroom offer a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity, while some rooms share external bathroom facilities that are small, poorly maintained, and lack a shower. Room sizes are generally large, and beds are described as comfortable. However, the interior is dated-wallpaper peeling, old mattresses, and broken fixtures in some rooms. Noise isolation is minimal; sound carries from hallways and neighbouring rooms. No air conditioning is available, so bringing a fan or opening windows is a practical tip. Some rooms have smoke odour issues. Free daily housekeeping and luggage storage add convenience. There is no balcony.
