LUCI A SAN SIRO, Milan

The M5 tube station (San Siro) is 200 m away, providing direct metro links to Rho Fiera Milano Exhibition Centre and the city centre (changing lines for Duomo). A tram stop is also within a 2-minute walk for travel further into Milan. The stadium and racecourse are within a short walking distance, making this a practical base for football matches and concerts. Malpensa International Airport is 45 km away. Free on-street parking is available but is not safe; paid public parking facilities are a more secure option. The area is residential and tranquil overall.

Accommodation consists of rooms within a converted apartment. Rooms with a private bathroom offer a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity, while some rooms share external bathroom facilities that are small, poorly maintained, and lack a shower. Room sizes are generally large, and beds are described as comfortable. However, the interior is dated-wallpaper peeling, old mattresses, and broken fixtures in some rooms. Noise isolation is minimal; sound carries from hallways and neighbouring rooms. No air conditioning is available, so bringing a fan or opening windows is a practical tip. Some rooms have smoke odour issues. Free daily housekeeping and luggage storage add convenience. There is no balcony.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, pastries, hot drinks, and packaged items. Coffee quality can be variable, but the spread is described as generous and sufficient for starting the day. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, so lunch and dinner require leaving the property. Several eateries including Hong Kong Food and Bosco Dei Sapori are within a 500 m walk. The property has a garden with outdoor seating.

The only leisure facility at Luci A San Siro is a small garden with outdoor seating, which is sometimes visited by resident squirrels. For other wellness or leisure activities, guests need to explore the San Siro district or use the nearby tram/metro to reach Parco Sempione (3 km away) or the Navigli canal area (10 minutes by car).
