MADAMA HOSTEL & BISTROT, Milan

Madama Hostel & Bistrot is a design hostel in an Art Nouveau building in Milan. It offers 13 bedrooms with accommodations for 60 guests in female-only or mixed dormitories, quadruple rooms, and double rooms. Every bedroom features air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot water, lockers, a reading lamp, and a USB port. Four double rooms have space for a cot or cradle. All rooms feature custom murals. Pets are welcome in the double rooms for an extra cleaning charge.

The hostel's bistrot serves breakfast with homemade sweets, lunch, and dinner. From 6 p.m., cocktails and appetizers are available. On Saturdays and Sundays, brunch is served from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The chef prepares simple dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options. The plates and cutlery for buffet and takeaways are made from biodegradable, organic materials. Guests can have meals in the outdoor area. The bistrot is open seven days a week, from 7:30 a.m. until 1 a.m. from Sunday to Thursday and until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Madama Hostel & Bistrot hosts acoustic concerts, DJ sets, karaoke, and shows featuring artists. There are also book presentations and cultural events. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a recreation room with a foosball table, board games, a TV, a PC, and books. The hostel displays temporary exhibitions by emerging artists. QC Termemilano and Castello Tolcinasco Golf Club are located nearby.

Madama Hostel & Bistrot is a 5-minute walk from Lodi Tibb underground station on the M3 line. Guests can visit Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology. From Linate Airport, take Bus 73 for 10 stops to Piazza Emilia, then Bus 92 for 5 stops to Piazzale Lodi, followed by a 3-minute walk. From Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport, take the Orio Shuttle Bus to Stazione Centrale. From Malpensa Airport, take the Malpensa Express train to Stazione Centrale. From Central Station, take the metro (yellow line) to Lodi Tibb.
