MAMBO SUITES, Bologna

Located on a quiet street just outside the historic core, the property is a 10-minute walk from Bologna Centrale train station for direct airport and regional rail connections. Piazza Maggiore is 1 km away (15 minutes on foot), and Bologna Fair is 5 km from the property. A bus stop is directly outside, providing easy access to the city centre. The surrounding area has supermarkets, several restaurants within 0.5 km, and a parking garage within a 5-minute walk, making it practical for car-free or car-based visits.

The property is arranged as a converted apartment with 4 private rooms on the fourth floor, accessible via a small lift. Rooms are basic and compact but function well for short stays of 1-3 nights. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, bidet, and hairdryer, and some have a balcony. Beds are consistently described as comfortable, and rooms include a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe, and a dressing area. Rooms facing the street can be subject to noise, particularly from the courtyard, while higher-level rooms are quieter. The build quality is functional but not soundproofed - hall and adjacent room noise can be audible.

Mambo Suites does not have a spa, wellness centre, or swimming pool. The property's roof terrace is available for relaxing, but there are no dedicated leisure facilities. Guests interested in outdoor activities can find rafting opportunities in the wider Bologna area. The location provides easy access to the city's cultural attractions, including MAMbo, the Museum for the Memory of Ustica, and Pinacoteca Nazionale.

All rooms have free, reliable Wi-Fi suitable for streaming and basic work. Public parking is available at a nearby garage (5-minute walk) for about €17/24h, and a parking garage a short walk away charges €20/day - reservation not needed. An electric vehicle charging station is on site. The building has a lift, though it is small and may not accommodate large strollers. The host offers remote support via messaging and can allow early check-in or luggage storage when available. No daily housekeeping is included; cleaning is on a short-stay basis. Access is self-service with either a key code or card, no physical reception desk.
