An H-E-B supermarket is within a 10-minute walk. A bus route runs most of the day about three blocks away. Downtown is accessible, but traffic around sporting events can make journeys time-consuming. William P. Hobby Airport is 20 km from the property, and no shuttle service operates.

The breakfast spread also includes cereal, muesli, jams, fresh juice, freshly baked cookies and tea or coffee, served in a large communal dining room with a long table. The property does not have a restaurant; Montrose puts many restaurants, bars and cafés within walking distance, and the nearby H-E-B supermarket supports self-catering in the shared kitchen.
