The single room contains one bed, a private bathroom and tea and coffee-making facilities. Many rooms add a minibar, electric kettle, heating and ironing facilities. The apartment is the largest option, with one living room, three separate bedrooms, seven beds, a bathroom with shower and free toiletries, soundproof walls, a minibar and a quiet-street view; it works well for families or groups. Room sizes vary noticeably-some doubles are spacious, while single and certain double rooms are compact. Older window frames limit sound insulation, so street-facing rooms pick up traffic noise, and interior rooms overlooking the stairwell have little natural light. Some air-conditioning units are older and noisy; bathrooms vary too, with some showers compact and others large and newly fitted. Balcony rooms are available for selected dates.

Breakfast is served from 08:00 as a continental or Italian buffet with fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries and cakes, plus vegan and American options; it costs €8 per person when not included in the rate. The ground floor also houses Ballantines', a traditional-style bar-restaurant with a coffee house, snack bar, outdoor dining area and free fruit. Caribbean and European dishes are on the menu, with set lunch and dinner menus at €15 for those staying; half-board can be arranged. Stand-up comedy evenings take place here at an additional charge. Wine and champagne are available for an extra cost, special diet menus can be requested, and packed lunches can be ordered.

Leisure time centres on Ballantines', where the bar, outdoor dining area, snack bar and evening entertainment are the main draws.
