Bugis Street and the Arab Quarter are also easily reached on foot. The immediate area is filled with restaurants, cafes and shops, including a 24-hour Mustafa Centre. Street noise from traffic is typical for the area; rooms facing the rear tend to be quieter.

Rooms vary in size: standard rooms are functional but compact, while Family Deluxe Rooms provide noticeably more space and can include two beds. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, and those on upper floors with interior-facing windows experience less road noise. All rooms include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle with tea and coffee, free toiletries, and daily refill of bottled water. Wi-Fi is free and works well in most areas, though signal can be weak in some spots. Rooms are cleaned daily, and the beds are generally comfortable, though some bedding has been described as itchy.
