MILANO 71, Milan

Sondrio metro stop is literally at the building's entrance, putting you on the M3 line directly to Duomo in about 10 minutes. Milano Centrale Train Station is 5-10 minutes on foot, connecting to Malpensa, Orio al Serio, and Linate airports. The neighbourhood has several cafés, pizzerias, and a supermarket within a few hundred metres, and the central station area offers further dining and shopping. For car users, public parking is possible nearby but cannot be booked in advance and involves additional charges. The property sits on a main road, which provides easy access but means some rooms may pick up traffic noise; requesting a courtyard-facing room helps.

All units feature air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls (in several rooms), a wardrobe, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Private bathrooms include a hairdryer, bidet, and free toiletries; some rooms have a walk-in shower. A tea and coffee maker and electric kettle are provided, and complimentary snacks are offered on arrival. Certain rooms include a balcony or patio, and some offer city views or a quiet inner courtyard outlook. The building has a lift and parquet floors. While some rooms are noted as compact, the layout is practical for a short city stay. Light sleepers may prefer a courtyard-facing room to avoid potential street noise.

The property does not operate a restaurant, so guests should plan for meals outside the hotel. A basket with coffee pods, tea, biscuits, and snacks is available in the room, offering a simple self-service option in the morning or throughout the day. The immediate area includes several dining choices within a short walk: Ristorante Pizzeria Terraferma, Caffe Gusto, Bar pasticceria Anteri, and others are all about 300-500 metres away. For a fuller breakfast, the cafés and bars nearby serve both Italian pastries and more substantial options. Self-check-in details are provided in advance, and the host can usually accommodate luggage if you arrive before check-in and want to explore for a meal.

The property offers free Wi-Fi in all areas, suitable for general browsing and remote work. Express self check-in and check-out via a digital door lock system makes arrival and departure straightforward, even for late arrivals. Luggage storage is available after checkout, useful for guests with late flights. The building has a lift, CCTV in common areas, and is non-smoking throughout. Parking is public and off-site with applicable charges and no reservation possible. No pets are allowed. Rooms are cleaned with towel changes and bin emptying, though deeper daily cleaning is not included; fresh towels and toiletries are provided as needed. The host communicates via messaging and can assist with special requests.
