OLA LIVING DIAGONAL APARTMENTS, Barcelona

This is an excellent base to explore Barcelona on foot. You can walk to Casa Batlló and La Pedrera in about 15 minutes, and Plaça Catalunya is a reasonable walk away. A bus stop is right outside the apartment, and Diagonal Metro Station and Gracia FGC Train Station are within 10 minutes' walk, providing fast connections across the city and to the airport. A large supermarket is 30 metres away, and countless restaurants, bars and cafes are within 5 minutes' walk, offering breakfast, tapas and coffee. The area feels safe and is central, making it easy to reach the beach (around 3 km), the Gothic Quarter, and the port.

The apartments are modern, clean and very spacious - ideal for groups or families. Each apartment has a lounge with a sofa and plasma satellite TV, plus a kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, hob, toaster, fridge and coffee/tea maker. Some apartments have a balcony, and deluxe categories include a balcony with seating for up to 4 people. All apartments have air conditioning, heating, a safe, an iron, a hairdryer, and private bathrooms (2 or 3 per apartment, depending on the size; bathrooms are not ensuite). Bed sizes vary, but the beds are described as very comfortable. Some rooms have windows onto an internal courtyard and can feel darker, while road-facing rooms are exposed to significant street noise from the nightclub directly adjacent to the building. Soundproofing is minimal; noise from the corridor and neighbouring apartments is clearly audible at night, especially in internal rooms. The apartments are located in a building that also contains a hostel, so there can be loud groups in common areas at night.

Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, hob, toaster, and coffee/tea maker, so you can prepare full meals. There is no restaurant or dining service on-site, but the location offers a wide variety of dining options just steps away. A large supermarket is 30 metres away for groceries. For breakfast or quick bites, a bakery and cafés are right downstairs. You will find countless restaurants within 5 minutes' walk, serving tapas, Spanish, international cuisine, and cocktails. The rooftop terrace is available for guests to use for eating or relaxing.

The apartments offer free WiFi in all areas and strong air conditioning. A lift is available, and the building has secure access. The front desk is staffed during regular business hours, and luggage storage is available from 9 am to 7:30 pm, allowing you to drop off bags before check-in or after check-out. The check-in system uses a mobile app that also works as a digital key - convenient for late arrivals once online check-in is completed. No on-site parking is available; local public parking is available nearby with a discount for Ola Living guests. Cleaning between stays is charged separately; daily housekeeping is available for an extra fee and must be requested. Pets are not allowed. The TV service may have limited channels and no streaming capabilities.

The only leisure facility on site is a rooftop terrace, which provides a space for relaxing or enjoying a meal with a view. It is accessible to all guests. No pool, spa, gym or other wellness amenities are present.
