The neighbourhood is safe and filled with restaurants, convenience stores, and a 24-hour Don Quixote. For longer distances to other parts of Tokyo, metro or train travel is required. The walk to the station is pleasant but may feel longer with heavy luggage.

Room types include double rooms, family rooms with one bed and two futons, and quadruple rooms with four futons. All rooms are non-smoking and have windows (some face a close adjacent building, limiting natural light). Beds are notably firm, with some futon-style bedding described as very thin and hard.
