PALACE APARTMENT, Vienna

The apartment is ideally placed for rail travellers, with the main station reachable on foot in about 5-10 minutes and a U-Bahn station even closer. The Keplerplatz area provides Lidl and other supermarkets within a short walk, plus several restaurants. Belvedere Palace is 1 km away, and the city centre is easily reached by metro. Vienna International Airport is 18 km away, accessible via direct trains from the main station.

The apartments offer one to two bedrooms plus a living area, accommodating 2-5 guests across various unit types. Each unit includes a private bathroom with a bath or shower and a hairdryer, plus a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, electric kettle, and washing machine. Larger apartments feature a separate dining area, wardrobe, sofa, and flat-screen TV. Some units have the toilet separate from the bathroom, which can be very compact - a factor for taller guests. Road-facing apartments may receive street noise, while upper units are quieter. Bedding and towels are provided, though some units have older linens. The property is in a building under renovation; certain apartments show signs of wear such as scratched doors or loose outlets.

Simit Palace Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the same building, offering a Turkish menu including grilled dishes, pide, and breakfast. Halal and vegetarian options are available. Guests often order breakfast here - a Turkish breakfast with complementary tea is provided. The restaurant also serves brunch, lunch, dinner and high tea within opening hours (08:00-20:00 daily). The surrounding area contains a wide selection of restaurants within a few minutes' walk, including Turkish, Asian and Viennese cuisine.

The local area provides access to ice-skating in season and boating opportunities, though these are not on-site facilities. Vienna's main parks and attractions, including Belvedere Palace gardens and the city's ice rink, are a short metro ride away. For relaxation, guests can use the apartment as a base for walking or cycling along the nearby Danube Canal.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property, though signal strength can be weaker in rooms further from the router - the main living area has good connectivity. The washing machine in the apartment is available for guest use (no dryer). Luggage can be stored at the downstairs restaurant on arrival or after check-out. The reception service includes private check-in/out with key collection at the restaurant. There is no parking at the property, but free weekend parking is available on nearby streets. Cots can be provided on request. The building has no lift.
