PARKVIEW MODERN APARTMENT W PARKING @ OLYMPIC PARK, Sydney

The apartment sits in the heart of the Olympic Park precinct, putting you within a 10-18-minute walk of Qudos Bank Arena and Accor Stadium. Bicentennial Park and its lake are across the street, and the train station is close enough for easy city access without a car. The ferry terminal is not nearby, so plan to use the train for harbour trips. Several restaurants - including Thai, Italian, and Asian options - are within 0.3-0.5 km, and a café and a cocktail bar are also a short stroll away. While the location is ideal for event-goers, finding the building after dark can be tricky due to poor street numbering; arrive during daylight or have precise directions ready.

The apartment sleeps up to four people: two on the queen bed in the bedroom and two on the double-size sofa bed in the living area. It is carpeted throughout and includes a dining table, a sitting area, a flat-screen TV, and a work desk. The kitchenette is fitted with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and cookware, making self-catering straightforward. The bathroom is private and has a walk-in shower, hairdryer, and basic toiletries. A washing machine/dryer is provided - note that the dryer may not fully dry heavy items. Wardrobe space is limited to a couple of hangers, and some shelves inside the built-in robe have been reported as unstable. The balcony offers garden and lake views, which add a sense of space. While the unit is clean and tidy upon arrival, the sofa bed is firm and may feel uncomfortable for some adults.

The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and cookware, making it practical to prepare simple meals. The dining table seats four. For those who prefer to eat out, the surrounding Olympic Park area offers a variety of options within 0.3-0.5 km: Uncle8 Vietnamese Fusion & Bistro, OTG On the go Thai, Thai Palate, and Piccolo Roma for Italian cuisine are all nearby. Mellow Me Cafe and GG Espresso and Wine Bar serve coffee and light meals, and Mexica Cocktail Bar is available for drinks. The apartment does not provide a coffee machine, so bring your own ground coffee or plan to pick up a takeaway from one of the local cafés.
