PENSION GROSS, Vienna

Pension Gross sits on a main road in the 9th district, a 3-minute walk from Schottentor Underground Station (U2) and several tram lines. The historic Old Town and Ringstraße Boulevard are 5 minutes away, with Saint Stephen's Cathedral a 20-minute walk. A Billa supermarket is practically around the corner, and numerous restaurants, bars, and cafés are within a short stroll. The walk and a quick metro ride give access to all major sights within about 20 minutes. Tram line D covers most attractions and the main train station, making a car unnecessary for city exploration.

The rooms at Pension Gross feature air conditioning, high ceilings, cable TV, and a private bathroom with a shower. Many rooms have a dining table or a small kitchen area, and standard rooms include access to an anteroom table equipped with a microwave, kettle, fridge, coffee, and sugar. A shared kitchenette in the corridor provides additional cooking and storage facilities. The property occupies the first floor of an older building, so the furnishings are vintage or traditional in style. Overall room size is generous, making the accommodation practical for groups or longer stays.

Pension Gross does not serve breakfast, but each room or the shared kitchenette includes a kettle, microwave, fridge, coffee, and tea-making supplies, allowing self-catered meals. A wide range of restaurants, cafés, and bars are within a few minutes' walk - including Fresco Grill, Da Luigi, and The Burger Bar at 0.5 km. A Billa supermarket is virtually next door for groceries, and several cafés within walking distance serve breakfast.

The property focuses on central self-catering accommodation without dedicated leisure or wellness facilities. The nearby city centre and numerous sights within walking distance serve as the primary leisure offering.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. The property operates without a reception desk; communication with the hosts is via messaging, and check-in is handled through a key box with a code. Luggage can be stored at the office 10-15 minutes away after check-out. The nearest 24-hour parking garage is a 5-minute walk (€3.90/h or €39/24h). A hairdryer is provided in the room. Cots are available on request.
