PENSION SAN ISIDRO, Madrid

The property is within walking distance of Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Gallery (all about a 10-minute walk). The surrounding area is lively with numerous restaurants, tapas bars, and clubs, which create street noise that continues into the early hours. For transport, Puerta del Sol provides extensive metro and bus connections, and Atocha train station is about 15 minutes on foot. Parking is not available on-site; paid garages are nearby. The immediate street has 24-hour mini-markets and many dining options.

The property offers double, twin, and triple rooms, each with a private bathroom (except one single room with shared bathroom). All rooms include a TV, wardrobe, and iron. Central air conditioning is provided but not individually controllable. Street-facing rooms experience significant noise from nightlife until around 5:00 AM; interior rooms are quieter but may have limited natural light. Some rooms have a balcony - request when booking. Bed linens and towels are supplied; toiletries are limited. The property is on the second floor and has a lift. Noise from neighbouring rooms can be heard due to thin walls.

Pension San Isidro does not serve meals or breakfast. However, the immediate area offers a wide variety of dining options. En Busca del Tiempo, just steps away, serves paella, fish, and tapas. Other nearby eateries include Museo del Jamon (0.5 km), La Finca de Susana, Taberna Alhambra, and Grama Lounge (all within 0.5 km). There are also 24-hour mini-markets downstairs for snacks and drinks.
