Sol Metro Station provides direct connections across the city, while Atocha Train Station is 2 km away and the airport is 19 km away (taxi approx. €33, 30 minutes). The area is busy with many tapas bars and restaurants, especially on the streets surrounding the hostal. Rooms facing the street can be lively at night, but inner courtyard rooms are quieter. The building also houses several other hostals, which can make the entrance a little tricky to find at first; look for a small sign on the second floor.

All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, plus bed linen and towels. Some rooms have a balcony with city views, while others overlook an inner courtyard (quieter but darker). Rooms are small and basic, with some showing signs of wear; the decor is minimal. A flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and trouser press are provided in all rooms. The soundproofing between rooms and corridors is limited, so noise from neighbouring rooms and the hallway can be an issue, especially in rooms next to the reception. The lift is an old wooden model that can occasionally be out of service, requiring carrying luggage up stairs. The wheelchair-accessible suite has a higher level toilet and soundproof walls.

Many tapas bars and restaurants are within a 1-2 minute walk, including Inclan Brutal Bar, 100 Montaditos Principe, and Lateral Santa Ana. Supermarkets and convenience stores are also nearby for self-catering supplies. The room includes an electric kettle; tea and sugar sachets are provided. There is no breakfast service, but the surrounding area offers numerous cafés and bakeries for morning meals.

El Retiro Park is a 15-minute walk away, providing ample green space for jogging, walking, or relaxation. The property offers a terrace and a rooftop bar (part of the building). The surrounding area is packed with bars, restaurants, and evening entertainment.
