PENZION U CEJPU, Prague

The pension is situated in a calm neighbourhood away from the tourist crowds, yet well-connected. The metro station Budějovická (line C) is a 6-12 minute walk away, and a bus stop is just around the corner. The city centre (Wenceslas Square, National Museum) is reachable in about 20 minutes by public transport. Vaclav Havel Airport Prague is 14 km away. Supermarkets and shopping centres are nearby within walking distance. Public parking on the street is free from Friday 20:00 to Monday 08:00; at other times paid street parking is available 150 m away. The location is ideal for travellers who prefer a quiet base with efficient transit links over a central address.

Room types include single, double, twin, triple rooms and spacious apartments. All rooms feature private bathrooms with a shower, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Apartments (suites) are especially roomy, some spanning two floors with multiple bedrooms and up to two bathrooms, making them ideal for families or groups of up to 6 people. Apartments also include a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and tea/coffee making facilities; standard rooms do not have a kettle. Rooms come with heating, a wardrobe, and a flat-screen TV. Some units have a small fridge. The property is older but well-maintained, clean, and quiet. No rooms have a balcony, and all accommodation is on the first or second floor (no lift).

A buffet breakfast is included in the room rate, offering a satisfactory selection of bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, jam, honey, cake, hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, and hot drinks. While the breakfast is sufficient and fresh, the offering remains similar each day. The on-site restaurant Šalanda is a highlight, serving local Czech dishes and drinks, including its own brewery. Many find the food excellent, reasonably priced, and the restaurant is directly accessible from the lobby. The bar/restaurant is open until around 22:30. For additional variety, several other dining options are within a short walk: La Casata, Aldo Pizzerie, and Cafe Empiria are 0.5 km away.

The property does not offer a spa, swimming pool, sauna, or fitness centre. However, the surrounding area provides opportunities for walks and outdoor activities. Petřín hill is nearby and can be reached by public transport. The restaurant Šalanda has a charming outdoor courtyard seating area for relaxing with a drink.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, though connectivity can be weaker in some rooms (stronger in common areas). Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. A tour desk can assist with planning outings. Daily housekeeping is provided, with towel changes offered. The front desk staff are known to be friendly and helpful. The property accepts major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, Maestro). Parking is free on weekends and public holidays on the street; at other times paid street parking is available nearby. There is no lift and no wheelchair-accessible rooms.
