PITAGORA ROOMS, Rome

Pitagora Rooms is set near Termini, Rome's main transport hub, with metro and train stations 700 metres away, making arrival from Ciampino Airport (14 km) or Fiumicino straightforward. Santa Maria Maggiore is a 14-minute walk, Piazza Barberini is 2 km, and Villa Borghese is a 19-minute stroll. The neighbourhood is safe and central, with a supermarket, several restaurants, and bakeries all within a 5-minute walk. The location is well suited for sightseeing on foot or by public transport, though no parking exists for car travellers.

The accommodation offers clean rooms with air conditioning and heating, a desk, wardrobe, and a private bathroom. Some units include a balcony or terrace. The bathroom is private but compact - the shower is small, and the plumbing can produce a strong odour if the door is left open; keeping the bathroom door closed is advisable. Walls are thin, so noise from neighbouring rooms can be an issue, particularly with inconsiderate neighbours. Bed comfort receives mixed reports - some find the mattress very comfortable, others note it is worn and sags in the middle. Light sleepers or those prioritising modern fixtures may want to consider their room choice carefully.

Pitagora Rooms does not have its own breakfast service or restaurant. The immediate area, however, is well supplied with dining options: Gello Gelateria Artigianale, Trattoria Leoni D'Abruzzo, The Yellow Bar, and Strada Romana Restaurant are all within 0.5 km. Supermarkets and bakeries are also nearby, making it easy to stock up on supplies or grab a quick meal. For those wanting a sit-down dinner, several trattorias and pizzerias are within walking distance of the property.
