PLAZA DE ESPANA, Salamanca

Salamanca's historic centre is on the doorstep, with Plaza Mayor reached in under 10 minutes on foot. The University of Salamanca is 1 km away, and other landmarks like Museo Historia de la Automoción and Alamedilla Park are nearby. Several restaurants, cafes, and bars are within a short 0.5 km radius. Free street parking is available about 10 minutes away by foot, making car access possible but not guaranteed. The property is in a quiet area that is well-positioned for exploring everything on foot.

Each room includes a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV, but the experience consistently falls far short of acceptable standards. Furniture is minimal or broken; many rooms lack a wardrobe, a chair, a bedside table, or a desk. Mouldy shower curtains, broken toilets, dirty walls, stained sheets and towels, and strong tobacco smells are persistent issues reported. The room size is small, soundproofing between rooms is poor, and ceiling fans are noisy and sometimes loose. The property provides heating but the cooling options are limited. For those who only need a cheap place to sleep and are prepared for serious discomfort, it can serve a single night.

Free WiFi is available in all areas, though its reliability has been questioned. The reception is not physically staffed; all communication is handled through WhatsApp or phone, and access codes are provided online. Express check-in and check-out are offered, and luggage storage is free, though availability may depend on response times. There is a designated smoking area but no parking on site. The property is non-smoking throughout, and safety features include CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers, and key access. No pets are allowed. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, and Maestro. Daily room cleaning must be requested.
