PodShare East Hollywood sits in a calm residential pocket of Los Feliz, roughly a short walk from the Metro station, making it easy to reach Griffith Observatory, Hollywood, and downtown LA without a car. The neighborhood offers a range of restaurants and bars within a 0.5 km radius, including Indian, Thai, and American cuisine, as well as a supermarket and coffee shops. Hollywood Burbank Airport is 16 km away; there is no airport shuttle service, so plan for ride-sharing or public transit. Street parking is available but requires reading signs carefully.

Each pod contains a comfortable single bed with two pillows, clean sheets, and a blanket. The space is designed for privacy despite the open layout, with pods separated enough that the dormitory does not feel crowded. Each pod includes a personal reading light and some have a desk area; however, the outlet placement near the pillow can be inconvenient for charging devices. The top bunks have a few exposed nails, so caution is advised. Heating and carpeted floors are standard. Bathrooms are shared but private for single use, with excellent water pressure. The open-plan living area features a full kitchen, a sitting area with a flat-screen TV, and a computer for guest use.

PodShare does not operate its own restaurant or serve breakfast. However, the shared kitchen is well-equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and a full set of cookware, utensils, and dishes - ideal for preparing meals and storing food. There is also a dining table. A variety of restaurants and bars are within a 0.5 km stroll, including Indian, Thai, and American options, plus a coffee shop. A Vons supermarket is also walking distance, making it easy to stock up on groceries.

This property does not have a spa, pool, or gym. Leisure revolves around the cozy common area, where guests can use the TV, computer, and a selection of books. Semi-monthly live music in the yard at the Venice location is open to all PodShare guests. The immediate area also offers thrift stores, parks, and boating activities nearby.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the building. The shared kitchen includes a microwave, oven, stovetop, coffee machine, electric kettle, and all necessary cookware. A computer and flat-screen TV are available for guest use. Safety features include CCTV in common areas and outside, a security alarm, and smoke alarms. The property is wheelchair accessible with grab rails in the toilet and wheelchair access. Laundry facilities are available for an additional charge, as is luggage storage (free during your stay, $6 per bag per night after checkout). A locker room is provided.
