DAY N NIGHT INN - NEAR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD, Los Angeles

The motel sits 2 km from Universal Studios Hollywood - an easy 25-30 minute walk to the park entrance. Hollywood Burbank Airport is 7 km away. Dolby Theater, the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Capitol Records Building are about 6 km away; the Hollywood Sign is 10 km. Public transit is nearby: the metro station is within a short walk, making car-free access to Hollywood and downtown feasible. The area contains a 7-Eleven and several dining options (burgers, Mexican, ramen, waffles) within a 5-minute walk. The location is convenient for park visitors but the immediate neighborhood feels more practical than upscale; the freeway is close, which adds traffic noise for road-facing rooms.

All rooms are exterior-entry motel style with private bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) and are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Some units include a microwave and refrigerator; others offer a work desk and wardrobe. The property is older and interior finishings can feel dated - chipped paint and worn headboards have been noted. Road-facing rooms are susceptible to traffic noise, while courtyard or rear units tend to be quiet. For light sleepers, requesting a room away from the freeway is recommended. Regular daily housekeeping is provided, but unit cleanliness on arrival may vary; inspecting the room upon check-in and requesting a swap if needed is a practical step.

The motel does not provide breakfast, a restaurant, or a bar. Guests must plan meals outside or use the in-room microwave and fridge for self-catering. Within a 5-minute walk, options include Stout Burgers & Beers, Ramen Jinya, Tortas Mexico Restaurant, Belgium Waffle Haus, and Kale & Quinoa Cafe. A 7-Eleven is across the road for basic groceries and coffee. For a fuller meal, Studio City and Universal City have additional sit-down restaurants about 1 km away.

Private parking is free and reservation-free; each room has a spot right outside, convenient for loading luggage. The lot is monitored by CCTV for security. In-room Wi-Fi is free of charge. The 24-hour front desk can assist with late arrivals, luggage storage, and TV troubleshooting. Daily housekeeping is included, but cleaning frequency and quality can vary - some rooms may arrive with minor cleanliness issues. Room service is available during staffed hours. Key-card access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers are fitted. Pets are not permitted. Payment can be made with American Express, Visa, Discover, or MasterCard.
