RADISSON HOTEL MEMPHIS - UNIVERSITY, Memphis

The hotel is situated near the I-240 expressway, making it a practical base for accessing Memphis International Airport, Graceland, and suburban business parks. Downtown Memphis, Beale Street, and the city's primary cultural sites are roughly a 15-30 minute drive away. The surrounding area is car-dependent, with few dining options within safe walking distance and reports of property crime in the vicinity. The free airport shuttle adds convenience for flyers, but a rental car is recommended for exploring the wider city.

Room options include those with king or double queen beds. Many rooms are described as large and clean with comfortable, often excellent bedding. Floors range from lower to higher (up to the 14th), with higher floors offering better views. Some rooms have been recently renovated and feel modern, but many others show significant wear: stained carpets, worn furniture, poorly fitting doors, and dated bathrooms. Noise from hallways and neighboring rooms is a common issue. Key card malfunctions requiring reprogramming are reported. Certain maintenance problems, such as slow-draining toilets, broken showerheads, and non-functional phones, have been noted. Rooms on lower floors may experience hot water issues.
