RAM'S HOTEL, San Francisco

The hotel is in the South of Market (SOMA) area, a central location 400 metres from San Francisco City Hall and 1 km from Union Square. Moscone Center is 2 km away. Van Ness and Market streets are a short walk away, providing easy access to Muni and BART stations for getting around the city without a car. Nearby paid parking garages are a practical alternative to on-site parking. A large police presence contributes to a feeling of safety on the street. Several dining options, including Sam's Diner, Street Taco, and Magic Wok, are within a 5-minute walk.

All rooms are private and come with city views, a flat-screen cable TV, a Keurig coffee maker, and a mini-fridge. Some rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, while others share a single-use bathroom (4 bathrooms for 12 rooms). Each room includes free Wi-Fi, heating, a seating area, free toiletries, and ironing facilities. The rooms are described as clean and comfortable, though compact (just big enough for the bed with some walking area). Noise from the street is well managed, and the rooms are described as well soundproofed.

Breakfast is available for some bookings as a free voucher for the All Star Cafe. The voucher covers a freshly made breakfast sandwich (eggs, cheese, sausage, bacon, or avocado on English muffin, white, or wheat bread) including coffee or juice. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant, but the surrounding area has several dining options within a 5-minute walk, including Street Taco, Magic Wok, and Starbucks. A communal kitchen with appliances is also available for guest use.

Services include a 24-hour front desk, express check-in/check-out, and daily housekeeping at no extra charge. Luggage storage is free and available from 9:30 am to 10 pm, which is useful for early arrivals or late departures. Laundry is available for an additional charge. The property has key card access, CCTV, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box. No elevator is present, but staff can assist with luggage during limited hours (9:30 am to 8 pm). Parking is not on site; the nearest garage charges approximately $30 per day.
