RESIDENCE HOTEL SILOE, Milan

The residence is in a quiet residential suburb about 5 km from Bosco Verticale and 5 km from Centrale Metro Station. The tram stop (line 4) is a short walk away and runs every 5-10 minutes, making trips to the Duomo straightforward (about 30 minutes via tram and metro). Sforzesco Castle is 7 km away. The area is car-friendly and offers free, secure on-site parking, which is rare in Milan. A supermarket (Copp) is within walking distance, and Parco Nord, a large green area, is nearby.

Room types range from single rooms to one-bedroom apartments. Each unit includes a private bathroom with a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. The kitchenettes come with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and cookware, making self-catering practical. Some units offer a separate seating area, dining area, and wardrobe. While the furniture is dated and the property carries a vintage feel, the rooms are well-maintained and clean. Road-facing rooms can be affected by noise; construction noise during the day has been noted in a limited number of stays. Air conditioning is available and effective, though some units have older units.

Breakfast costs 7 EUR per person and includes a continental buffet with bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, and hot drinks. Options are relatively limited but adequate for a simple start to the day. Siloe Bistrò offers Italian cuisine for lunch from 12:00 to 15:00 on weekdays, with a set menu option. The bar and restaurant are closed on weekends and for dinner. Several restaurants, including pizzerias and bistros, are within a 5-minute walk, providing evening alternatives.
