Santa Maria Novella station is about 10 minutes on foot, making arrival from the airport or train easy: from Amerigo Vespucci airport take the tram to Alamanni-Stazione, then walk. The property is surrounded by main shopping streets (Via de' Tornabuoni, Via dei Calzaiuoli) and landmarks such as the Baptistery, Basilica of Santa Croce, and Palazzo Vecchio. Although placed on a lively square, rooms facing the internal courtyard are noticeably quieter than those on Via Strozzi, which gives a genuine Florentine street view. A wide choice of restaurants and cafés is within 300 metres, and the location works best for walkers - no car is needed for sightseeing.

All rooms have an LCD TV, minifridge, safe, hairdryer, electric kettle, and free Wi-Fi. Beds feature orthopedic slats for restful sleep. The Single room is bright and overlooks Via Strozzi. The Double rooms are available in a 32 m² mezzanine layout with a Jacuzzi tub and a city-rooftop view, or a classic street-side layout. The mezzanine suite also offers two semi-separate areas. Rooms facing the internal courtyard are the quietest option. There are no balconies. The building is on the 4th floor; an elevator is available from the 1st floor, with a short flight of about 20 steps from street level (staff help with luggage on request).

Breakfast is a paid add-on - €20 per person at Caffè Concerto Paszkowski on Piazza della Repubblica (8:00-11:00 daily, Saturday until 11:00), including a hot drink, freshly squeezed juice, a croissant, and a savoury mignon. A cheaper option (€12) is available at Hard Rock Cafe with a similar breakfast voucher. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but the location is surrounded by dozens of dining choices from casual pizzerias to fine dining, all within a few minutes' walk. A wide range of cuisines (Italian, sushi, Chinese) is within 300 metres. The shared lounge has free coffee and water at all times.

Organised activities are available at extra cost: bike tours, pub crawls, walking tours, and classes about local culture. Off-site options include cooking classes, movie nights, temporary art galleries, and live performances. The shared lounge with TV provides a casual space to relax. The immediate area offers rooftop bars and panoramic viewpoints as recommended by the staff.

Wi-Fi is free and fast (1 Gigabit) throughout the property. Daily housekeeping is included. Guests can store luggage before check-in and after check-out all day - simply notify the staff.
