RESORT V - MRT HUAI KHWANG, Bangkok

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet residential area, providing a calm atmosphere at night. MRT Huai Khwang Station is about a 20-minute walk or a short 20 THB motorbike taxi ride away. A free shuttle service also connects guests to Huai Khwang and Sutthisan MRT stations. Don Mueang International Airport is 19 km away (approx. 31 km to Suvarnabhumi Airport). Nearby conveniences include a 7-Eleven right across the street, a food court, and several street food stalls. Major attractions like Chatuchak Weekend Market (5 km) and Central Plaza Ladprao (5 km) are within easy reach by MRT. The property is set back from main roads, so rooms tend to be quiet, but the hotel itself has limited soundproofing.

Accommodation ranges from single and double rooms to family and quadruple rooms, including a Superior Family Room that sleeps 4 in a single room with 4 beds. Many rooms have a terrace or balcony with pool views, while select ground-floor rooms offer direct pool access. Each room includes a private bathroom with a shower, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries; some bathrooms also feature en-suite facilities and shampoo. In-room amenities include air conditioning, a seating area, wardrobe, safe deposit box, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV. The property is a budget hotel, and the condition of rooms is basic; some rooms may show signs of wear, and furnishings are older. The pool-view rooms are spacious, but travelers seeking modern decor or high-end comfort should adjust expectations.

The hotel's central feature is its sizable outdoor swimming pool, open daily from 07:00 to 22:00. The pool area includes a sun terrace, outdoor furniture, and a designated smoking zone. Pool maintenance can be inconsistent, so its condition may vary during your stay. There is no spa, gym, sauna, or other wellness facilities on site. For families, the pool is a practical way for children to cool off, and the surrounding terrace offers a space to relax. Bicycle parking is available for those who bring their own bikes.

Wi-Fi is free in public areas but may not be reliable inside rooms. Daily housekeeping is included but is not always performed; if you require servicing, it is best to request it at reception. Luggage storage is available free of charge before check-in or after check-out. Laundry services are offered for an additional charge, and a flat iron is available on request. The reception staff speak limited English, and the front desk is not staffed 24 hours - check-in is only possible between 14:00 and 23:00. Security features include CCTV, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and key access. The property has no elevator or escalator, and no airport shuttle; parking is not available. A refundable deposit of 1000 THB in cash is required at check-in.
