ROKSOX-HOME MEIDLING SCHLOSS SCHOENBRUNN, Vienna

Located on a quiet street, the apartment is a 15-minute walk from Schönbrunn Palace and the Schönbrunner Gardens, with an ice-skating rink nearby. Bus line 9A stops directly outside the building, and the nearest metro station (U4) is a 10-15 minute walk, providing direct connections to the city centre in about 30 minutes. Vienna International Airport is 24 km away, accessible via the metro and rail network. Several supermarkets and a few restaurants (Marengo, Ginger and Fred) are within a 5-10 minute walk, but options are limited in the immediate vicinity, especially for evening dining. The U4-Center parking garage offers daily parking for around €7, and P+R Hütteldorf is another practical option for longer stays.

The apartments feature a private entrance, a seating area, a fully equipped kitchenette (stovetop, refrigerator, toaster, tea/coffee maker), a washing machine, and a private bathroom with shower. Bed configurations range from one-bedroom units with a double bed to two-bedroom units accommodating up to 5 people. The apartments are simply and recently refurbished, with parquet floors and high ceilings. Units vary in equipment and upkeep; some may lack a wardrobe (using a clothes rack) and have limited storage space. The bathroom window opens onto the building's inner hallway, which can reduce privacy when the light is on; a curtain is not standard. Gas heating is used in some units, without visible detectors. A cot and board games are available on request.

The apartment's kitchenette is equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, and coffee capsule machine, making self-catering straightforward. Supermarkets are a short walk away but close at 6 PM on Saturday and remain closed on Sunday. Several restaurants, including Café Raimann, Café Restaurant Schönbrunn, and Gasthaus Stafler, are within 0.5 km. A notable Italian restaurant is located around the corner. For guests preferring to explore, the Schönbrunn area offers additional dining options within a 15-minute walk.

Schönbrunn Palace, with its grand gardens, park, and seasonal ice-skating rink, is a 15-minute walk from the apartment. There are no on-site wellness facilities such as a pool, spa, or gym. The quiet neighbourhood and nearby parks are suitable for relaxed walks or jogging. Board games are available in the apartment for family entertainment.
